What a great pleasure to interact with my treasured clients. Allow me a minute to introduce myself.
I was born 30 years ago in Blantyre, Malawi.
At the age of twenty I joined INDEbank (then an investment bank only) and worked in their micro lending department before being poached by NICO Corporate Finance Limited (then a division of NICO Group) and in the six years rose to the position of Manager responsible for micro-lending and transfer secretarial services (managing registers of almost all companies listed on the Malawi Stock Exchange).
I resigned from this highly paying job and went into full time business.
My first stint was the co-founding of Platinum Business Solutions Limited (a recruitment and HR firm). Being both a shareholder and the operations / business development manager, I was fully involved with the setting up of the firm and saw it growing into one of the top two recruiting firms in Malawi roping on board clients like Old Mutual, Zain (now Airtel) Telkom Networks Malawi, CDH, Total, Izwe Loans (RSA) etc.
As time passed, I realised that I needed to go into an industry that my passion was in, computers and internet. I sold off my holding and set up Qtechnologies (web hosting and online backups). Qtechnologies went on to claim a huge market share in Malawi.
After borrowing a leaf from the web hosting gurus, I went on to team up with my beautiful wife and set up Webhost97 and gladly embraced the role of Business Development Manager. Qtechnologies now offer online backups and website and software development services.
Webhost97 is now the fastest growing web hosting company in Malawi.
I sit on the board of Corporate Finance Limited (as Chairman) and I am a member of the Lions Club of Blantyre.
